Foot & Ankle Pain

Foot and ankle pain can either be a result of trauma or can have more of an insidious cause. Most people at some point in their lives have experienced a sprained ankle, which can blight their day-to-day function for a few weeks, but some people may suffer with plantar fasciitis which may affect their lives for months at time.

The main causes of foot and ankle pain are

1. Ligament sprains

2. Plantar fasciitis

3. Achilles tendon injuries

4. Fractured metatarsals

5. Arthritis

6. Morton's neuroma

The good news is that the vast majority of foot & ankle problems can be resolved with appropriate physiotherapy and self management. Treatments at here at Delta include manual therapy, acupuncture, taping, electrotherapy, injections, structured exercise programmes, and soft tissue therapies.
